In a pioneering presentation at the Academy of Sciences, Professor Said Gulyamov delivered an insightful overview of his extensive research and proposed innovative developments in the fields of investment, corporate law, and the rapidly evolving cyber law.
Hailing President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visionary leadership, Professor Gulyamov credited the renaissance in academic science and education since 2016 to the progressive policies of the Uzbek government and the untiring efforts of the Academy’s Presidium.
With a career dedicated to advancing legal frameworks, Prof. Gulyamov has significantly impacted investment strategies through digital technologies and has been at the forefront of corporate governance reforms in Uzbekistan.
His pioneering work on cyber law and artificial intelligence places Uzbekistan at the cutting edge of combating cybercrime and ensuring cybersecurity. Prof. Gulyamov’s monographic work on the ‘Concept of Cyber Peacemaking’ has introduced a new paradigm for peaceful resolution of conflicts in cyberspace.
The professor also delved into the realm of quantum AI, connecting quantum reality with Islamic principles and interpreting physical phenomena like quantum entanglement through the teachings of the Quran.
Under his leadership, more than 16 candidate and 6 doctoral dissertations have been defended, contributing to the establishment of two scientific schools in corporate law and cyber law, extending their influence beyond Uzbekistan.
Having published over 250 scientific works and holding international patents for five smart programs designed to optimize legal firms’ operations and enhance cybersecurity, Prof. Gulyamov is a stalwart in the academic and scientific community.
He chairs the Council of Young Scientists at the Academy of Sciences, serving as an international arbitrator and editor-in-chief of three scientific journals, further showcasing his commitment to academic excellence.
In 2023, under his scientific leadership, the Cyber Law department was established at the Law University, aiming to prepare top-tier cyber-lawyers for the digital age. Prof. Gulyamov’s dedication to integrating law, ethics, and technology in education is set to forge a path to leadership in cyber law and information security worldwide.
Emphasizing the importance of research in cybersecurity, digital governance, and IT training, Prof. Gulyamov is set to advise on strategic aspects of digital transformation to ensure Uzbekistan’s continued leadership in the digital domain.
The professor’s strategic vision includes establishing cyber-science as a new scientific discipline, creating networking among universities for cyberethics education, and developing a national legislative system on cybersecurity and AI.
